New Student Acting Intensive: |
6 hour class: $185 | |
| Introductory On-Camera Class for ages 7 and up (including adults) | ||

If you want to study acting techniques for on-camera work and auditions, you can either take some private lessons to learn the techniques taught at LCA or you can do our New Student Acting Intensive that happens four times per year. After you’ve done either private lessons or the intensive, you can go into whichever class your instructor advises. The bulk of the one-day intensive is on-camera work. Students will have a chance to break down a theatrical and commercial scene as well as learn new skills to perform these scenes on-camera several times during the day. The day runs from 9:00am-2:00pm for children/tweens (includes a pizza lunch) and from 3:30-8:30pm (includes a pizza dinner) for teens/adults. From 2pm-3pm, adult acting
students and the parents of our children and teen students
will get a wonderful hour of career information. We will
go over any questions about how to get started with an
acting career. We will cover much of the same content
we do in our private career consultations to help you
even know if acting is a career you want to pursue. We
also invite any currently enrolled students to attend
for free to refresh their career knowledge and get a
chance to have their questions answered as well. New
and current students always find this Q&A extremely
helpful. This workshop
or private lessons are required before taking any
other LCA on-camera classes. |
